Product Description

Wood Pellet Production Line
It mainly contains Chipper process, crush process,Drying process pellet process, cooling process, packing process.

Usually the finished pellet diamater is 6mm and 8mm, but it could be adjustable based on different customer's requirment. The below processes is the classic full pellet production line that most customer choose, we would like to show it parts by parts:  
 
1. Chipping process- wood chipper
Raw material of wood pellets is wood sawdust, wood chips, wood logs, straw,etc.  Raw material need to be well prepared before pelleting, then get dried, compressed, and formed into small sized bits. A wood chipper is a machine used for reducing wood (tree trunks or limbs) into small parts, like wood chips or sawdust.

2. Crushing process - Hammer  mill
Hammer mill is designed to reduce wood chips into sawdust for the preparation of producing wood pellet. A hammer mill is a steel drum containing a rotating shaft with hammers mounted. The rotor is spinning at a high speed inside the drum, and the material is impacted by the hammer, and shredded into small size 3-5mm. Then it will ready for the next process to get dried and pelletized.

3. Drying process - Rotary Dryer
After crushing process, the wood and biomass material need to be well conditioned on moisture before pelleting. The best moisture content to pelleting is about 14-16%. You can use moisture detector to determine the moisture content before pelleting.  Xingtai Dryer, Roller speed is adjustable, precise gear drive, smooth operation, low noise. Optimized design stove, the new structure. Equipped with hot air filtration system of the stove to prevent flames entering into the dryer cylinder.

4. Pelleting process - Wood pellet machine
A pellet mill, also known as a pellet press, is a type of mill or machine press used to create pellets from powdered material.

Ring Die wood pellet machine is the core technology of the pelleting production line. Our pellet mill bearing and motors are all imported from Japan and European with high quality, which make the pellet mill more efficient and durable.
 
Driving Gear adopts the high precision gear transmission structure. The wear bearing is made from SKF. The motor use the Siemens Brand.
 
As for the ring die and roller of the wood pellet mill, we apply alloy steel, such as 20 CrMnTi and 40Cr; and stainless steel, such as 4 Cr13 and 3 Cr13.

5. Cooling process - Pellet cooling machine
After the pelleting process, the temperature of the wood pellet is about 60-80 degrees Celsius, and the moisture content of the wood pellets is about 15%. A cooler should be employed to reduce the moisture content to about 3%-4%.

6. Packing process - Pellet packing machine
After cooling process, the wood pellets will not directly enter into the fuel process, avoiding the wood pellet affected with damp, the packing process is very necessary. The packing process is effectively handled by our Semi-Auto Packing Machine.
